Use of Google analytics with anonymisation function
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Google Analytics employs so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored to your computer in order to facilitate an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by these cookies, such as time, place and frequency of your visits to our site, including your IP address, is transmitted to and stored by Google in the United States.
By using Google Analytics our website has an IP anonymisation function. In doing so, Google abbreviates and thereby anonymises your IP address before transferring it from member states of the European Union or signatory states to the European Economic Area Agreement.
Google will use this information to analyse your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if such third parties process this data on Google’s behalf.
Google states that it will under no circumstances associate your IP address with other data held by Google. You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting the settings on your browser software accordingly. You should be aware, however, that by doing so you may not be able to make full use of all the features of our website.
Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation option for most current browsers that provides you with more control over what data Google can collect and process. If you enable this option no information about your website visits will be sent to Google Analytics. However, the browser deactivation option does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services we may engage.
For further information about the deactivation option provided by Google, please click the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Use of Google Maps
Our website uses the “Google Maps” component of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereafter referred to as “Google”.
Each time you access the Google Maps component, a cookie is placed by Google to process user preferences and data when you view the page that includes the Google Maps component. As a rule, this cookie is not deleted by closing the browser, but ceases to be active after a certain period of time, unless you delete it manually before.
and the additional Terms and Conditions for “Google Maps”.
Use of parts / Share Buttons
Our website features only image links of social networks, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube. The “Share” buttons on the news pages are embedded in disabled form, so that there is no direct contact with the servers of the respective social networks. Only when you click on the “Share” button, a new window will open in which you must log on to the selected social network. At no time are data transmitted from our website to the respective operators of the social network without this being initiated by the user.
Use of YouTube components with advanced data protection mode
On our website we use components (videos) of YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company belonging to Google Inc. of Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
For this we use the “extended data protection mode“ option provided by YouTube.
When you display a page that has an embedded video, you will be connected to the YouTube server and the content will be displayed on the website by sending a message to your browser.
According to the information provided by YouTube, in “enhanced data protection mode” the only data that is transferred to the YouTube server is in particular which of our web pages you have visited, while you watch the video. If you are logged onto YouTube at the same time, this information will be associated with your YouTube member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.
