Christian Kuppel takes over management of Business Unit Parking

Personnel restructuring is the result of a strategic future orientation in order to better meet the requirements of today and tomorrow. Above all digital and networked solutions are the focus, which optimally complement our hardware products with the parking ticket machines in order to create added value for the customer.

Paul Fratila, who has been with Hectronic since June 2004, is regarded as a creative head and initiator for future-oriented solutions. In order to be able to devote more attention to development again and further advance the company in times of digitalisation, he handed over the management of the BU Parking to Christian Kuppel on June 1.

Stefan Forster, Managing Director of Hectronic, sees the changes in the BU Parking as the right step: “We now see ourselves as even better positioned to meet our own requirements. Digitisation is in full swing and Hectronic is right in the middle of it! We want to play a decisive role and be fast, good and user-friendly. Even today, customers are still interested in traditional parking ticket machines. The difference compared to the past is that an offer in combination with digital solutions such as apps is required – that’s what we can do! With Christian Kuppel, we were also able to fill the position of BU Director with a person who can also optimally accompany our activities from a commercial point of view. His focus is in the commercial sector, where he deals with topics such as “Go-to-market” or “Software as a Service (SaaS)”.

Kuppel has been Head of Technology and Communication for many years and therefore brings the best knowledge to support us optimally.

“The combination of a traditional family business with highly motivated employees and the strong brand impresses me. Innovative strength and proximity to the customer are closely linked and exemplified. Together with my team, I am looking forward to further expanding Hectronic as one of the leading providers in the field of parking management”.  Christian Kuppel, Director BU Parking Systems
